The Bulldogs won Friday against the Bremen Blue Devils 57 to 49. The Bulldogs have 2 wins and 1 loss in the Region and currently 8 wins and 10 losses for the season. Nick Bryant had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds against Bremen. Heath Ivester had14 points and Carter Logan followed Ivester with 12 points. The Bulldogs will travel to Excel Tuesday to play against the Eagles.

5K Fitness Run

As we are all attempting to follow through on the annual New Year's resolution to become healthier and better fit, keep this in mind: TES is sponsoring a 5K (3.1 miles) and 1 file fun run to promote health and fitness in our community. The race is set for Saturday, March 17 @ 9:00 AM. The course starts at the school, travels through the community, and ends back at the school. The cost for participation is $20 for the 5K and $10 for the fun run. You can register at www.active.com. At the top of the webpage, make sure Summerville, Ga. is listed, and search using "Trion".
Flyers and mail-in registration forms will be available soon.
We appreciate everyone spreading the word to your family, friends, and students.
Catch the boys and girls high school basketball games on Friday night at Ga. Highlands with girls game at 4:30 and boys at 8:00 p.m. Cowart and Thomas both agree the teams are pumped and ready for action.
Tina Lee puts in a lot of hours making our Elementary Christmas program a success! This year's theme was "We Will Jingle". Smiles, laughter and beautiful voices filled the auditorium making wonderful memories. To enjoy these, click here.

The 4th and 5th grade science fair will be held on May 2nd and 3rd, 2012. The following attachments include a Student Information Packet and a 5th grade standards guide. We look forward to seeing you at the Science Fair.
Trion High School has kicked off their wrestling season with several wrestlers placing in last week's tournament. "We have a young team this year, but we are working some different moves. These boys will come along," according to team coach Eric Brock. Middle School wrestlers are off to a good start with a strong team this year. "Some of those boys have been wrestling since they were five years old and have the potential to be State Champs one day, " added Brock. Good luck to both teams this season. See slide show.
